Recharge Art Auction: Callout for items!
If making an art project for BitF isn’t quite in your scope this year, there are other ways of contributing to the Art Fundraiser. We are looking to you to donate items for the Art Auction at ReCharge.
When participants purchase your donated item, they also get to distribute the money they have paid for the item to the artists of their choice at ReCharge. How cool is that?
What might you give?
Costumes, art pieces, trinkets, services – you could even offer to take the winner out for dinner with you. Nothing is too small or too large – let your imagination flow with ideas of what you could give. We thank you for all your gifts!

Recharge – BitF Art Fundraiser
Anyone need money to fund an Art project or Theme Camp for Burn in the Forest? Here’s a reminder about “Recharge”, thnot if you only needed $100 to begin with, but you get the idea). Contact Natalie Gregory ([email protected]) to secure a voting bucket; people attending Kasbah will get tokens to put in your bucket if they think your idea is awesome. Community members will vote directly for the art they want to fund. You will receive a proportionate amount of money after the beans have been counted.
Registration is open until March 15, 2013.

Hey music lovers, jammers, dancers, cooks and lovers. It’s that time again. Pancakes and Jam!! Sunday brunch and an afternoon jam.
WE’VE CHANGED THE VENUE FOR THIS WEEK!
390 industrial ave, Vancouver, British Columbia
All you musicians. cooks and music lovers come out and bring your friends for breakfast. We’ll have the griddles going with pancakes, bacon, eggs and tasty breakfast treats – with an afternoon jam on the side.
Huge thanks to all the participants who’ve come out to make this happen thus far. Something truly wonderful is happening in our community.
SINGER/SONGWRITERS WELCOME! If you have a more quiet style please come out early (a.k.a. noon) and serenade us over brunch. As the afternoon progresses things get livelier, dancers get dancing and things get bopping. It’s lovely to have that gradual musical progression during the afternoon.
This is jam number four in a winter series that will go every second Sunday until Spring. What better way to spend a rainy Vancouver Sunday than sharing good food and music with friends?
This is a community building event. You are encouraged to participate. Volunteers are needed and wanted for cooking, playing, dancing and cleaning.
This is a free event at heart but to keep it sustainable we ask you donate $5 or $10 at the door. Best deal in Vancouver that includes all you can eat breakfast and live music on a Sunday with some of the coolest peeps in town.

Didja miss out on the Individual Sale last week? Don’t despair! Sign up for STEP so you can try to grab tickets from folks who might not be needing the ones they’ve bought already.
SECURE TICKET EXCHANGE PROGRAM (STEP)
STEP opens February 28, 2013 at 12pm (noon) PST and closes July 31, 2013.
- This year, anyone who has not already purchased a ticket through one of our other sales can register to purchase at ticket through STEP.
- Availability is dependent on participants releasing tickets into the program.
- Registration opens February 28, 2013 at 12pm (noon) PST.
- As soon as tickets are released into STEP they will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis via email notifications to registered participants.
